Get to Know TB1

With over a decade in the lacrosse space both playing and working professionally, our experience spans numerous different areas. Our goal is to provide a unique, all-encompassing perspective on the recruiting process as a whole.

Troy Becker

As a former DIII player, with limited offers and exposure, Troy has a unique experience to the recruiting cycle. After spending the last 5 years coaching at HS and club levels, as well as working with elite D1, D2, D3 programs, and recruiting showcases and events alike, he has seen the recruiting world from every angle. Troy is eager to assist the next generation of athletes as they navigate their own personal recruiting cycles.

Troy has been fully ingrained with lacrosse since the third grade. During college, he spent summer months working at Lacrosse Unlimited in Princeton, NJ, coaching local club programs and travel teams, and interning with the Chesapeake Bayhawks (formerly of the MLL).

After playing for four years in the Centennial Conference at McDaniel College (DIII), he spent 6 months interning with NXT Lacrosse in Philadelphia. Troy eventually took the Brand Manager position with STX Lacrosse and relocated to Baltimore, MD.

As the Brand Manager with STX, Troy managed all the sponsored teams (NCAA & PLL), sponsored athletes, social media accounts, and events. In the years since, Troy has continued to be fully ingrained in the lacrosse space, currently acting as the Director of Clippers LC, a club in the Annapolis area. Troy oversees all 13 teams ranging from 2025 through 2034 grad years. Troy is the head coach of the 2025 and 2030 teams in addition to acting as the head coach for the 2030 and 2026 Eighteen National teams.

At the high school level, Troy is the assistant Offensive Coordinator for Archbishop Spalding, an MIAA A conference school. Troy has helped coach and mentor over 15 Division 1 commits during his time with the Cavaliers.

Eric Becker

Eric, father of Troy, has been a School Counselor in the state of New Jersey for more than 28 years.  Eric has spent the last 24 years as a School Counselor at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North, which is annually ranked in the top 10% or better for academic excellence in the state of New Jersey and 90% of the students move on to college.

In addition to being on the counseling team at WW-P North, a Blue Ribbon School, Eric served many years as the Boys Head Varsity Basketball Coach where his teams qualified for multiple New Jersey state playoff bids.  Eric has also served as a varsity assistant coach for Girls Basketball, and an assistant coach to Girls Golf and Baseball.  Currently, he serves as the Head Boys Varsity Golf Coach and co-directs two sports camps: Rising Star Sports Camp and Triple Threat Basketball Camp.

Throughout his two decades in the WW-P School district, Eric has guided countless students and student-athletes to attend their high priority school. We are excited to have his years of experience, expertise, and guidance to assist our athletes as they navigate the recruiting process, understand the application process and gain knowledge with regard to college admission trends.
